This is another cool project from Ron Holthuysen of Scientific Art Studio, Richmond CA. These were historic photos that we fired into tile. Ron and his staff then cut the tile to the outline of the picture and assembled them. There are 3 layers of tile to give the sculptures dimension. This project was for Kaiser Permanente in Richmond, CA
Our Digital Ceramic Printer System uses specialized ceramic toners to produce high resolution photographic prints for imaging on ceramics, porcelain and glass. It is now possible to create one ceramic decal or hundreds easily and for the same low cost per print. Our system is perfect for porcelain photos for cemetery memorials, outdoor signage, tile murals, backsplashes, custom tableware, awards, kiln-fired decals for ceramic studios and much more.
